Tramontana grew out of the Ivanišević family of Krilo Jesenice on the Dalmatian coast, whose recorded ancestry in the region dates back to 1502. Antonio Ivanišević founded Tramontana on the legacy of his great-grandfather Don Frane Ivanišević, who built the Krilo port. Its pillars are integrity, innovation and impact.

Where it all began
Tramontana is the evolution of the Ivanišević family story. With recorded ancestry in the region dating back to 1502, both sides of Antonio’s family tree boast captains, businessmen, and seafarers. However, the real story and inspiration behind Tramontana starts with Antonio’s great-grandfather, Don Frane Ivanišević, in the 19th century.
Don Frane was a remarkable man who dedicated his life to making a positive impact on his people and community; he built schools, a community center, a church, and donated almost everything he had to the local community. Don Frane also built the Krilo port, which is now home to hundreds of boats.
Tramontana is the culmination of this legacy of hard work, dedication, and innovation. Building something that lasts, education, evolving with the times, and giving back to the local community are the pillars of Tramontana’s philosophy: integrity, innovation, and impact.
With such strong and inspiring roots, today, the Ivanišević family’s evolution on the Adriatic continues with a new generation establishing Tramontana, Croatia’s first luxury yacht brand, in the place where it all began.
