About this policy

This policy explains the cookies and similar browser storage used by the Tramontana website, operated by Tramontana Shipyard d.o.o. For information about personal data, our contact details and your rights, please read our Privacy Policy.

What cookies and local storage do

Cookies are small pieces of information stored by your browser. They can be sent back to the website with later requests. Local storage also keeps information on your device, but is read by the website’s scripts rather than automatically sent with each request.

Our website uses these features to remember the opening animation, your build-sequence drawing style and progress through the guest preference sheet. Local storage does not have an automatic expiry date unless the site sets one.

Storage used by this website

The following items are set by the Tramontana website when you use the relevant features:

  • Opening animation — seenAnimation. A first-party cookie that remembers the opening animation has played, so it is not repeated on each visit. It lasts for one day. Its value is an animation flag, rather than a name or contact detail.
  • Build-sequence drawing style — ty-stage. First-party local storage that remembers your choice of Night or Paper drawing style. It is saved when you select a style and remains until site data is cleared or the preference is changed.
  • Guest preference draft — tramontana_sheet_form_data. First-party local storage that saves entered guest-sheet details and your current step so the form can be restored. It may contain personal information entered into the form. There is no fixed expiry; it remains until cleared by the site or through your browser settings.

Saving a guest-sheet draft locally is separate from submitting the form to our team. On a shared device, clear saved site data when you have finished. Guest-sheet entries can also appear in the page address, so avoid sharing a completed form’s URL and consider clearing it from your browser history.

Third-party services

Google Tag Manager may be enabled on the website to load additional tags. The cookies, recipients and storage periods involved depend on the tags configured. This does not mean that Google Analytics or advertising cookies are necessarily in use.

Externally hosted videos may connect to their provider when loaded or played. That provider may receive technical information and use its own cookies or storage. Following a link to a social network, map or another website takes you to a service with its own privacy and cookie practices.

Your choices

You can inspect, block or delete cookies and local storage through your browser’s privacy or site-data settings. Search for this website’s address to remove its saved data. Blocking or clearing storage may cause the animation to play again, reset your drawing style or remove a saved guest-sheet draft.

Non-essential storage and tracking require consent where applicable. Reading this policy or continuing to browse does not itself provide that consent. Browser controls do not replace a website’s obligation to obtain consent, and deleting an existing cookie does not by itself prevent it from being set again.

For questions about storage or any consent you have given, contact antonio@tramontanayachts.com.

Updates to this policy

We may update this policy when website features or services change. The date above identifies the latest version. Further information about how personal information is handled is available in our Privacy Policy.
